Kingdom Service
Kingdom Service is a privilege for any member of the body of Christ because it's an opportunity to walk with God and partner with him.
No wonder 1 Timothy1: 12, says he gives thanks to God for finding him worthy to serve.
So, we are here to train you to do the work of the ministry (Ephesians 4 vs. 12)
What is Kingdom Service
Kingdom service is God's expectation of every believer. It can also be defined as the work of ministry.
NOTE: Ministry can imply service, and another word for SERVE is to MINISTER.
We should also proceed to say that we were saved to SERVE God Luke 1 vs 74.
Benefits of Kingdom Service
1. YOU ENJOY THE RARE PRIVILEGE OF SERVICE
God doesn't just put anyone to do his job. His job (service) is available for those he can count faithful. If God gives you an opportunity to serve, he is saying I can count on you, I count you faithful. This is a rare privilege.
A boss will always provide and protect the interest of his subordinate if he serves well. That subordinate has the opportunity to travel with his boss and also enjoy certain privileges.
2. INVESTMENT IN ETERNITY.
Every kingdom service you render is an investment in your eternity. So what we will become in heaven and what we will have in heaven is determined by the quality of service. Rewards are functions of service. People may not appreciate your service, but heaven credits it to your account. Hebrews 6:10 (means those who do not show Labour of Love are unrighteous)
As you serve the people of God, it's regarded as the Labour of Love. When you do not serve, your potential is untapped, and no investment has been made.
The greatest favor you do for people is to get them planted in church.
3. SERVICE IS PARTNERSHIP WITH THE LORD JESUS.
Service in his vineyard changes our status and levels in life because you are doing what Jesus did. You can imagine trusting God for a US visa, and the president of the US says, "Come and partner me to run the US." it means you have a visa automatically and even more
HE ALWAYS PAYS.
